Michael, my seventh sibling, was truly a gift and a blessing. His light will shine above, and it did on earth. His love has been a beacon when times were good and when life wanted to shackle him in despair. Our bond became tighter as we said farewell to our siblings, and his strength and presence provided the wind beneath my wings.
Being the last sibling alive... him leaving me here to cherish his memory is difficult. My biggest hurt by not being able to say goodbye hurts; however, it will never overshadow our chats, his love for my children, and how wife Rita boasted that he only listened to me. He always provided my favorite seafood - welkes - and, most importantly, his love for our family was deep and wide.
There are so many good things that can be said about my brother. We can mark his heart as a pot of gold, and what he has done for his community is unspeakable, which has truly made life better for so many people. His kindness and generosity have touched lives. He has made an impact that can never be forgotten. He was loved in life and most definitely in death, which will be remembered forever.
